Astronomy in real time

Your horizon. Your solar times.

This neutral technical simulation calculates dawn, sunrise, sunset and dusk for your location. Cams, linkages and linear scales translate the annual cycle mechanically without imitating a watch dial.

The watchmaker behind the sun

Experience became an astronomical vision.

Martin Braun represents the third generation of a watchmaking family. Restoring historic calibres, crafting rare replacement parts and studying astronomical cycles led to a watch unlike any before it.

Time is not only what a watch measures. It is also the light that shapes our day.

Awarded innovation

Recognition for a new way of displaying time.

The EOS and its astronomical successors attracted international attention early on. Historical distinctions are presented factually and without unverified award logos.
